Yin Yang Bucket Hat by Never Ending Weekend
Made from vintage denim, new white bull denim and quality white cotton, this bucket hat by Never Ending Weekend is a cool and functional work of art.
The hat is available in two sizes; s/m and m/l. Either size works on most adult heads. The smaller size has a shallower brim, a shallower bucket and a smaller circumference. The larger size can work on a smaller head with a looser fit and vice versa. They're also denim and like a good pair of jeans, they'll stretch and mold to your head if it feels a bit snug.
S/M: approx 58cm in circumference and 7.5cm in height
M/L: approx 62cm in circumference and 8cm in height
I'm also offering a custom size slot, please choose that option if you would like something outside the current offerings.
Each hat is made to order so please allow 1 week for turnaround time. Custom add 1 week.
In Ancient Chinese philosophy, yin and yang is a concept of dualism, describing how seemingly opposite or contrary forces may actually be complementary, interconnected, and interdependent in the natural world. Yin is the receptive and Yang the active principle, seen in all forms of change and difference such as the annual cycle (winter and summer), the landscape (north-facing shade and south-facing brightness), male energy vs. female energy and so on. According to this philosophy, everything has both yin and yang aspects (for instance, shadow cannot exist without light). The yin yang shows a balance between two opposites with a portion of the opposite element in each section. This symbol, at this time especially, resonates so much with many of us, myself included. And so here it is, shown throughout my most recent works.
